Security forces in Manipur averted a major tragedy after recovering two powerful IEDs in Jiribam district on Sunday. Acting on intelligence inputs, Assam Rifles personnel launched a search in Makha Basti and found the explosives, each weighing about 12 kg. A Bomb Disposal Unit safely destroyed them on the spot.
