Workers and leaders from Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) protested against Kunal Kamra by throwing black ink on the comedian's photo in Thane's Dombivli. During the protest, they attempted to set Kamra's effigy on fire and some females were also seen throwing slippers on his picture. The protest followed a controversy that sparked following Kamra's 'traitor' remark against Eknath Shinde.
