West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee criticised the BJP-led government in Assam for sending NRC notices to bona fide citizens of West Bengal. She accused the BJP party of launching an attack on the Bengali language. "Such actions are unacceptable and violate the rights of the residents of Bengal. I'll ask...double-engine government of...BJP to mind their own business," Mamata added.
