The Indian stock market opened lower on Monday as the Sensex slipped 103 points and the Nifty fell 25 points amid investor caution. While large-caps were weak, midcap and smallcap stocks showed strength. FIIs turned sellers, while DIIs supported the market. Motilal Oswal's report says corporate earnings are stabilising and valuations remain reasonable.
