The benchmark equity indices ended in green on Thursday despite US President Donald Trump's announcement that he is increasing the tariff on India from the current 25% to 50%. Sensex and Nifty recorded a jump of 0.10% and 0.09%, respectively. Sensex ended 79.27 points higher at 80,623.26, while Nifty closed 21.95 points higher at 24,596.15.
