Sensex was up 700.40 points or 0.85% and ended at 82,755.51 on Wednesday. The Nifty was up 200.40 points or 0.80% at 25,244.75. About 109 stocks hit their 52-week high while 43 stocks were at their 52-week low. An ease in tensions in the Middle East, following a tentative ceasefire between Israel and Iran, lifted investor sentiment.
