Benchmark index Sensex jumped 746 points, closing at 80,604, while Nifty neared the 24,600 level, jumping 221.75 points on Monday. Tata Motors, Eternal, Trent and SBI emerged as the top gainers on Sensex. Bharat Electronics, Bharti Airtel and Maruti Suzuki were among the losers. Biggest Nifty gainers were Adani Enterprises, Tata Motors, Eternal, Grasim Industries and Apollo Hospitals.
