Sensex slumped 786 points on Thursday as it opened at 80,695, while the Nifty tumbled 212 points to trade at 24,642 at market open. This comes after US President Donald Trump announced 25% tariff plus penalty on India on Wednesday. However, he later said negotiations are still on between the two countries.
