Kolkata Knight Riders' ex-Team Director Joy Bhattacharjya spoke about how Shah Rukh Khan made sure the team never lacked finances. He explained that sponsors paid for both KKR and SRK and said, "KKR was the first team that went profitable from very first season." He added, "SRK was astute, great relationship, great management....meanwhile other teams were struggling to get finances."
