A stand was named after late Australian spin legend Shane Warne at Junction Oval in Melbourne in honour of his contribution to cricket. The stand was formerly named after Australian rules footballer Kevin Murray. Warne is the second-highest wicket-taker across all the formats, he took 1,001 wickets in his international career. He passed away at the age of 52.
