Former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson will team up with head coach Abhishek Nayar as Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) assistant coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season, the franchise announced on November 13 (Thursday). Watson recently stepped down as the head coach of San Francisco Unicorns after a three-year stint with the Major League Cricket (MLC) franchise.
