Student activist Sharjeel Imam on Saturday approached the Supreme Court to seek bail in 2020 Delhi riots 'larger conspiracy' case. This comes four days after the Delhi High Court refused to grant him relief. Delhi HC dismissed the bail pleas of Imam and fellow student activist Umar Khalid, saying that their roles in the conspiracy appeared "prima facie grave".
