Indian Women chief selector Neetu David said batter Shafali Verma is "in the system" after the 21-year-old wasn't included in India's Women's World Cup 2025 squad. "We've got our eyes on her. Hope she plays a lot more and garners experience, it will help serve India in the 50-overs format," she added. Shafali has scored 644 runs in 29 WODIs.
