The ANTF of East Jaintia Hills Police arrested two persons, including notorious peddler Phulchand Ali of Shillong, and seized 137.86 grams of heroin in 11 soap boxes at Umkiang. The drugs were recovered from Hajrat Umar of West Bengal. A case under NDPS Act has been registered and investigation is ongoing.
