Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, have been charged with cheating Mumbai-based businessman Deepak Kothari of ₹60 crore in a loan-cum-investment deal for their now-defunct Best Deal TV. Kothari alleged the couple spent his investment on personal expenses. He claimed an agent had sought ₹75-crore loan for the company on behalf of Shilpa.
