Bastian, a well-known fine dining restaurant in Bandra, was recently rumoured to be closing, sparking concern over the end of a popular chapter in Mumbai’s culinary scene. Co-owned by Shilpa Shetty and led by Ranjit Bindra, Bastian is now set to evolve with two new ventures: Ammakai, celebrating South Indian cuisine, and a new Bastian outlet in Juhu.
