Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde escaped unhurt when a stage collapsed during a Dahi-Handi event in Ghansoli, Maharashtra. The stage gave way under the weight of a large crowd as Shinde was coming down after participating. While panic spread among attendees, Shinde was quickly moved to safety. Deputy CM also participated in other Dahi-Handi events across the state.
