Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar issued his first statement after meeting Biocon Chairman Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw on Tuesday over her criticism of Bengaluru's infrastructure. "They agreed that they're going to cooperate with Bengaluru and that they'll not hurt the city. They'll support the system," Shivakumar said. He added that he has taken over local bodies of areas adjacent to Bengaluru.
