Deputy CM D K Shivakumar has ordered the removal of encroachments blocking rainwater flow in Bengaluru under the Disaster Management Act. After inspecting flood-hit areas near Manyata Tech Park, he stressed on urgent action to prevent future urban flooding. Civic officials have been instructed to clear blocked stormwater drains and restore natural water channels across affected zones.
