Following backlash, 'Sardaar Ji 3' producer Gunbir Singh Sidhu spoke about casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film. Gunbir said, "The movie had been shot earlier...we shot this with Pakistani artists when there were no such rules and regulations in India." The film will skip Indian premiere following government's rules prohibiting Pakistani actors in Indian films after Pahalgam attack.
