While laying foundation stone of upcoming Bombay High Court complex in Bandra (East), CJI Bhushan Gavai said the "building should be a temple of justice, not a seven-star hotel." CJI further remarked that judges are "no more feudal lords". The project is worth ₹4,000 crore and will cover will cover 50 lakh square feet and is expected to be AI-enabled.
