PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer has become the first captain to lead three different franchises to final in IPL history. Iyer-led PBKS defeated MI in IPL 2025 Qualifier 2 to set up final clash with RCB. He had led DC to IPL 2020 final, which they lost to MI. He led KKR to title win in IPL 2024.
