Team India opener Shubman Gill has become the fastest cricketer to score 2,500 runs in ODI cricket history, taking 50 innings. Gill scored 112(102) against England in the third ODI, taking his tally of ODI runs to 2,587. The previous record was held by South Africa's Hashim Amla, who reached 2,500 runs in ODI cricket in 51 innings.
