After alleged gang-rape of law student at South Calcutta Law College, the Calcutta High Court on Thursday ordered the closure of all union rooms in colleges and universities across West Bengal. The court stated, "If union rooms are to be used for official purposes, permission must be obtained...and written approval must be kept," adding, "It can't be used for recreation."
