Shortly after Congress ruled out any plan to replace Siddaramaiah as Karnataka CM, a video of Congress MLA BR Patil speaking on phone surfaced online. "Siddaramaiah hit a lottery...I introduced him to Sonia Gandhi...and he became CM," Patil said. "I've no Godfather or God. I met (Randeep) Surjewala and said everything I had to... let's see what happens," he added.
