A contingent of Indian Sikh pilgrims went into Pakistan by crossing the Attari-Wagah border on Tuesday to participate in the 556th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev in Nankana Sahib, first time since the Pahalgam terror attack. This comes after the government had initially denied permission for the contingent, citing prevailing security concerns between the two countries since the attack.
