Singapore Grandmaster Kevin Goh Wei Ming has criticised American Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura for throwing world chess champion Gukesh D's king into crowd after defeating him in an exhibition match. He wrote on X, "If the future of chess is one where it’s acceptable behaviour to toss opponent's pieces into the crowd...I'm not sure I want anything to do with it."
