Singer and composer Sanjay Chakraborty was arrested by Kolkata Police in Mumbai on Wednesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor student of his singing classes. Upon learning about the allegations, Chakraborty reportedly went to Mumbai and sought interim bail from the Mumbai High Court, which was subsequently denied. A Kolkata Police team tracked Chakraborty to Mumbai and apprehended him.
