NSA Ajit Doval told the Chinese delegation led by China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi that the situation on the India-China border has been "peaceful and quiet" for the last nine months. Doval also thanked PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping for setting "a new trend for the relationship" between both nations on the sidelines of BRICS 2024 summit.
