Naigaon police booked six transgender individuals, aged 25-30, for allegedly performing obscene dances and gestures during a Ganpati celebration in Vasai near Mumbai on August 31. They reportedly danced to Bhojpuri songs before a large crowd. Based on a complaint, two event organisers have also been charged.
