Visakhapatnam railway station introduced sleeping pods this Thursday (10th July 2025), a first for the East Coast Railway (ECOR) zone. This initiative at the railway station aims to offer a safe and comfortable stay, especially for those who visit the city for work. The facility includes 73 single beds, 15 double beds, and 18 beds allocated only to women.
