Singer Smokey Robinson filed a $500 million countersuit for defamation, financial elder abuse, etc. against four ex-employees who accused him of sexual assault. The singer denied all allegations calling them "fabricated in support of their extortionate scheme". Apart from sexual assault, Robinson is accused of sexual battery, rape, false imprisonment, and creation of a hostile work environment.
