SoftBank on Tuesday said it sold its entire stake in chipmaker NVIDIA for $5.8 billion in October. The Japanese conglomerate had raised its stake in NVIDIA to about $3 billion by March-end. Last month, NVIDIA became the first company to hit $5 trillion market value on the back of $500 billion in AI chip orders and plans to build supercomputers.
