Indian solar panel manufacturers could be priced out of the market almost instantly if they lose government protection, according to SEBI-registered analyst Nikhil Gangil. He noted that an oversupply from Chinese manufacturers, who are flooding the global market with panels often priced below cost to offload excess inventory, has sunk solar panel prices.
