A man was seen dragging his father, reported to be a diabetic foot ulcer patient, from the elevator of the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital to an auto rickshaw outside. The hospital staff allegedly denied the free wheelchair service, demanded money, and asked him to wait. The video, now widely shared, has reportedly led authorities to suspend two contract staffers.
