The 18-year-old son of a man named Ganesh Komkar, who was one of the key accused in the murder of former NCP corporator Vanraj Andekar, was shot dead on September 5 in Pune. The police have named the boy's maternal grandfather and gangster Bandu Andekar as one of the accused in the case. Vanraj was killed on September 1, 2024.
