A woman named Ujala claimed Sonam Raghuvanshi travelled from Varanasi to Ghazipur on the same bus as her. She said Sonam covered her face with a scarf, sat next to her, borrowed her phone for a call and deleted the number before returning her phone. Sonam asked Ujala to avoid news on Raja Raghuvanshi's murder, saying, "Don't watch useless things."
