Activist Sonam Wangchuk was arrested on Friday by Leh Police amid statehood protests in Ladakh. The violent protests in Ladakh have claimed at least four lives and injured several people. The protests turned violent on Wednesday as protesters clashed with police and set fire to BJP office in Leh. Wangchuk had also started a hunger strike.
