Activist Sonam Wangchuk has been moved to the Jodhpur Central Jail after he was arrested on Friday over the violent protests in Ladakh. The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) of Ladakh stated that Wangchuk was moved to Jodhpur to maintain public order and restore normalcy in Leh after the violence. He was detained under the National Security Act.
