South Africa’s Department of Defence is in talks with China to postpone a joint naval exercise with Russia and China, originally scheduled for November 2025, to avoid overlapping with G20 Presidency preparations. The exercise, held biennially among BRICS partners, will be rescheduled to a more suitable date.
