South Korean authorities began removing loudspeakers blaring anti-North Korea propaganda and K-pop music along the country's border, calling it "practical measure to help ease tensions". This comes amid efforts of new government of President Lee Jae Myung to reconcile with Pyongyang. Earlier, North Korea rejected South Korea's proposals to initiate dialogue, saying they aren't interested.
