South Korea plans to build its first civilian nuclear bomb shelter under a public gym in Seoul. The 2,100-square-metre bunker will be able to accommodate 1,020 people and include ventilation, water, and waste systems for two weeks of survival during nuclear, chemical, or biological attacks. When not in use for emergencies, it will serve as a fitness centre.
