Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu said he wants people to have children and his government will soon launch a policy on population growth. "There is growing concern about the declining population in South India. While Parliament seats may increase in the future, southern states could see reduced representation," he stated. He added that fertility rate in the state must rise.
