Uttar Pradesh (UP) CM Yogi Adityanath said previous Samajwadi Party government kept UP trapped in caste-based conflict and nepotism. "Before 2017, UP was known for riots and being one of the most unsafe states for daughters," he said. Adityanath added that double-engine BJP government at the Centre and in UP had pulled the state out of identity crisis.
