UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak accused Samajwadi Party of making statements aimed at disrupting religious harmony during the ongoing Kanwar Yatra. "We have heard SP leaders making remarks that reflect their intent to push for Sharia law in the country," he added. SP had opposed the idea of vendors disclosing their identities while selling food during religious events.
