The Uttarakhand government has sought an explanation from Dehradun DM Savin Bansal after he was allegedly "non-cooperative" during Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's visit to Mussoorie. Citing letters that he received, Secretary of the protocol department, Vinod Kumar Suman, said, "It has also been mentioned that the Hon'ble Speaker did not receive the due respect and courtesy befitting his position."
