The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Bihar's electoral roll has already started, according to an official government press release. This is to verify the eligibility of almost 7.89 crore electors in Bihar's 243 Assembly Constituencies. The release said the Election Commission has already appointed 77,895 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and will appoint nearly 20,603 more for the SIR.
