Consumer disputes commission in Mumbai has directed SpiceJet to pay ₹25,000 to a senior citizen passenger who was issued a wrong ticket in 2020. The airline gave the wrong ticket for an alternate booking after the flyer's initial flight was cancelled due to bad weather. The commission found SpiceJet guilty of "deficient service" and said complainant also "acted negligently".
