Spotify has launched in-app direct messaging feature, which will soon begin rolling out to both free and premium users aged 16 years and older in select markets on mobile devices. Only allowing one-on-one chats, this feature will allow texting people one has already connected with. The chats are not end-to-end encrypted, wherein Spotify may review conversations if rules are broken.
