Sresan Pharmaceuticals' owner Ranganathan has been sent to a 10-day police custody after the company's cough syrup Coldrif allegedly led to the deaths of 20 children. He was arrested by the Madhya Pradesh police in Chennai and was brought to Chhindwara after completing the necessary formalities. Sresan Pharmaceuticals is a Tamil Nadu-based company.
